BEA DANCEWEAR!

Out with the old and in with the new ….stock. Loads of it! Lots of beautiful dance and gymnastics wear! I have taken the decision to streamline the business and become Bea Dancewear, a boutique for dancers, run by a dance enthusiast, a dance-aholic if you will!
It’s been a tough decision but you, my customers, have voted with your purses and told me via your feedback that you want and need a shop dedicated to dance. And that is something I can deliver.
I’ve been in my Tonbridge shop now for just over eighteen months and business is booming. I am a mother to two dancers and danced myself until I was 15, just recently taking it up again with the lovely Deborah at Ballet Workout in Ryarsh. I really understand the dance world and I’m passionate about it. I have a network of contacts at all the local dance schools and I sometimes pop along for shoe fitting sessions with the students! I am a professional footwear fitter which means I know what I’m talking about and I’ll make sure that your son or daughter has the correct footwear and that it fits perfectly – so important when buying pointe ballet shoes but imagine how uncomfortable it is dancing in any wrongly sized shoe!
When I’m not visiting dance schools, I’m based at the shop on Barden Road, Tonbridge where we stock everything you might need for dancing - child, adult, boy, girl, novice dancer or professional. Leotards, tights, leg wear, shrugs, and of course footwear are just a few examples and we stock them from all the leading brands: Capezio, Bloch, Tappers and Pointers as well as the famous Pineapple brand. I am the largest independent stockist of Pineapple in Kent!
The shop is colourful and bright with changing rooms and mirrors and really close to Tonbridge Railway Station. There’s also free parking outside!
I have the stock in a lovely shop and I have the knowledge and passion, but I also deliver great customer service. This is something I pride myself on; it’s simple, I just think about how I would like to be treated in a shop and I try to surpass that! I only recommend you buy what you need and I am always on hand to help with after care so that your dance kit will last as long as possible. If I don’t have it in stock or the size you need (which is unlikely!) I will order it in for you.
And, I know we’re called Bea Dancewear but a lot of the stock will work for other hobbies too – gymnastics of course, but also the gym, yoga or just lounging around!
